Fig Leaf Banksia Native Wet Chai

Our signature Australian Wet Chai. It showcasing the finest local and international spices. We start with a stunning, high altitude, Ceylon Orange Pekoe and infuse it with raw Banksia Honey, which has been infused with local Young Fig Leaf for four weeks. This unique base is layered with potent native Australian botanicals like Tasmanian Mountain Pepper and fragrant Anise and Honey Myrtles, alongside traditional chai spices like Cardamom and Queensland-grown Ginger, delivering a deeply aromatic and balanced spiced tea.

This very blend is proudly featured on Vue De Monde's non-alcoholic pairing menu, served alongside their iconic chocolate soufflé.

TO SERVE:

• Add 6g of tea for every 180 ml of hot, 90°C water in an appropriately sized steeping vessel(we LOVE the Handy Brew).
• Steep for 5.30 minutes agitating regularly 
• Enjoy immediately with or without milk.

With the honey already added, please sample before adding any more sweetener.

All of our Wet Chais' are made with 100% raw, local honey that can crystalise just like a jar of raw honey can. This does not affect the result of your tea. We've also noted that crystalised wet chai keeps better, along with being easier to handle. If your Wet Chai comes crystalised, you're a lucky duck!
